Paris is absolutely glowing at the moment and not just because of the light. There is a bright, happy cheer in the air as everyone rushes about preparing for Christmas.
This week whilst I finished last minute errands, I encountered nothing but happy and helpful, bright and beautiful, with people looking forward to holidays, festivities, family, and all things joyful that roll around for the next two weeks. Imagine how great the world would be if we were full of Christmas spirit year round! Imagine if we stopped being unhappy about the little things that really don’t matter at the end of the day. And whilst we’re imagining, I’d like to pass every Sunday afternoon in a very comfortable spot on Avenue George 5 with this.
If you’re in Paris for the holidays:
– Haven in Paris compiled a list of activities ‘Christmas in Paris – Family fun in the City of Light’
– Mary Kay shares her experience as one of the early skaters to try out the ‘Winter Wonderland at the Grand Palais’
– If you’re still looking for the perfect French gift Vicki Archer of French Essence has lists with something for everyone.
– And, whilst we are getting ready to mix our Australian-American-French Christmas, this article has me smiling and bringing back fun memories.
Best of all, I love the excitement that Christmas brings to my two little ones…..magic at it’s best.
