On a plateau west of Paris, sits Saint Germain en Laye. With commanding views back towards the capital, the grounds of the Chateau are great for catching the morning sunrise on a clear day. These days however, along with so much of the region, it looks more like a winter sports resort. And, a beautiful one at that.

Lynne, thank you sooooo much. I’m lucky, my muse is pretty cooperative!

So quiet and beautiful. Just what my heart needed tonight.
Krista,
It was so lovely. I could have easily stayed all day taking photos.
I love you. I love your photos! What else can I say. xo
Now, if only there were a way for you and Lynne to split your time between Paris & Canada. I’ll vote for whatever it takes.
xx
I think I commented on facebook, but I just have to tell you how much I adore your photos, and these winter shots with the splashes of color are just the best!
Karene, thanks for the lovely feedback…and the editing.
Unfortunately, we needed to be somewhere or I would have happily stayed in Saint Germain en Laye taking many more photos like these. Next time snow arrives, I plan on having an empty agenda.
