We’ve just returned from a couple of adventurous road trips criss-crossing the countryside, visiting places that we hadn’t yet explored in France.
I have sooo many images to edit and share – this country never ceases to take away my breath. There were many, many times I just couldn’t put the cameras away, so much visual stimulation I wanted to capture it all. And then some more, and then more again! It’s twelve years since we moved here….be it known I came kicking and screaming wanting to stay in Tenerife…and little did I realise how smitten I’d be with the Gallic country, her people, the way of life. I’m so thankful that France is my home, with each new discovery I’m deliriously happy all over again.
For all those years I’ve been falling head over heals with France, I’ve also been sitting on bucket loads of images. My computer and two external hard-drives are busting out with an overload of files of images collected, thus it’s time I started to share more from outside of Paris.
Whilst I get around to working on recent images, and preparing to share the news of the projects that have been brewing in Paris and London, how about a journey around France, through her various regions? Come along with me to discover the colour of her villages, the warmth of the sun on centuries old buildings, cobbled streets, delicacies…and a savoir faire that makes La Vie Française oh-so heavenly.
Today, let’s head to Provence.
